Why invest in Ag Detailing?

Modern agricultural equipment is a serious financial commitment, often a six-figure purchase, and in many cases, a seven-figure investment. With machines working long hours in harsh environments, their paint and surfaces take constant abuse from UV rays, chemicals, fertilizer dust, crop debris, and heavy fieldwork. Professional agricultural detailing protects that investment by removing corrosive buildup, restoring clarity to faded surfaces, and preserving paint that is naturally more prone to oxidation due to its single-stage construction. Proper detailing not only keeps your equipment looking sharp, but also helps prevent long-term surface damage, supports better maintenance, maintains stronger resale value and displays your companies commitment to clean equipment. When the machines you rely on cost as much as they do, protecting them isn’t cosmetic, it’s smart asset management.

professional Paint correction

What is Paint correction?
What is single stage Paint ?

Paint correction, also known as polishing is the process of restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork on a vehicle by removing surface imperfections. These imperfections can include swirl marks, fine scratches, oxidation, water spots, and etching caused by bird droppings or road grime. Using specialized polishing machines, compounds, and techniques, paint correction carefully levels the clear coat to eliminate these flaws and bring back a deep, glossy finish.

Most agricultural equipment doesn’t come finished with a traditional automotive-style clear coat. Instead, it’s typically painted with a single-stage enamel or urethane system. While durable, this type of paint has the color and protection mixed into one layer meaning it doesn’t have an additional UV protective clear coat on top. Because of this, ag paint is far more vulnerable to fading, oxidation, and chalking. Constant exposure to sunlight, chemicals, fertilizers, and field debris accelerates the breakdown of the paint surface. Over time, the finish becomes dull, rough, and loses its original depth and color much faster than clear-coated automotive paint.

Common defects that affect single stage ag paint
Swirls

Often most visible under direct sunlight or bright lighting. Swirl marks are circular scratches usually caused by improper washing or drying techniques, ike using dirty sponges, rough towels, or automatic car washes with abrasive brushes.

Scratches

Scratches in Single stage paint are often caused by abrasive contact with rough or sharp surfaces such as rock's, dock's, tree's, debris and improper washing techniques â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Oxidation

Oxidation on single stage paint is caused by prolonged exposure to the sun's UV rays, oxygen & salt as well as environmental contaminants overtime can damage the outer layer of gelcoat leaving a dull and chalky finish

1 Step paint correction

Our 1-Step Correction is a powerful yet efficient process for agricultural equipment with single-stage paint, designed to restore clarity and shine without a full multi-stage correction. Using a less aggressive compound and pad, this service removes light oxidation, swirl marks, and surface imperfections, enhancing the finish and leaving a smoother, more vibrant appearance.

This service removes:

  • Light oxidation and fading

  • Minor swirl marks and surface haze

  • Water spots and light stains

  • UV dullness and minor imperfections

Best For:
Agricultural equipment with single-stage paint that needs a quick restoration to improve shine and protect against the elements

2 Step paint correction

Our 2-Step Correction is an intensive process designed for agricultural equipment with single-stage paint that requires a deeper level of restoration. The first step (cutting stage) uses a more aggressive compound and pad to remove heavy oxidation, deep swirl marks, scratches, and other surface defects. The second step (polishing stage) refines the surface, enhancing gloss, depth, and clarity for a smooth, vibrant, and protected finish.

This service removes:

  • Moderate to heavy oxidation and fading

  • Deep swirl marks and scratches

  • Water spots and mineral deposits

  • UV dullness and other surface imperfections

Best For:
Agricultural equipment with single-stage paint that requires a thorough restoration to achieve a smooth, glossy, and protective finish
